Nat Osborn Band
Nat Osborn Band
Nat Osborn Band is an international touring act based in Brooklyn, New York. Osborn “writes smart, punchy tunes that blend old-school Gershwin-era songcraft with decidedly modern sensibilities” (Popdose). The band around him is comprised of some of the best musicians New York has to offer, each of whom bring their own unique voice to Osborn’s inventive songs.

Nat Osborn was born and lives in New York City. The city’s relentless energy is in his blood and in his music, something he carries with him regardless of whatever part of the world he’s performing in. Nat’s style is, like New York, an eclectic mix of influences. A heap of soul and strong doses of funk, jazz, and indie-rock are blended into an exciting and vibrant original sound. Joining Nat on tour this summer are long time collaborators Dustin Carlson on guitar, Thomas Hartman on drums, and Stu Mahan on bass guitar. Horn virtuosos Bruce Harris, Matt Garrison, and Dan Linden round out the seven-piece powerhouse ensemble.

Formed in 2012, Nat Osborn Band released their debut album, The King and The Clown, in April 2013 to a sold out crowd at the famous venue Le Poisson Rouge in New York. Following the release, the band toured tirelessly playing over two hundred concerts a year between the United States and Europe. The band has been a feature of Jazz and Pop festivals on both sides of the Atlantic and been featured on television in eight different countries, all while operating as a hard-working independent act.

In 2015, Nat Osborn Band released a three song EP on legendary Philadelphia based label Rope-A-Dope. The EP, along with debut album The King And The Clown, is on Spotify, iTunes, and anywhere you want to find music.

The band released their first live album in September 2016, for sale exclusively through

“The Nat Osborn Band has a rare knack for existing simultaneously in several different places at once” – The Deli NYC

“Eclectic, smart, high energy, Osborn gets his fingers into a whole bunch of different pies here and comes up with something good every time” – New York Music Daily

“Wow! What a sound” Artie Lange, live on the Artie Lange show

“The inability to label Osborn with any one specific genre lent greatly to his appeal. Dramatic vocal runs, rolling exotic and ghostly horn melodies, and even blues fueled guitar binges; Osborn fit it all into his tightly packed arrangements. With vocal theatrics likened to Muse, and playful horn runs a la Beirut, Osborn folded different genres into his compelling repertoire.” -Flush the
Rocket & The Ghost
Rocket & The Ghost
New York-based indie rock outfit Rocket And The Ghost was formed by singer and multi-instrumentalist Kiyoshi Matsuyama in the fall of 2012. A Boston native and Brooklyn transplant, Matsuyama broke free from his longtime allegiance to blues-driven rock n’roll to focus instead on writing his own songs. Right out of the gate Rocket & The Ghost started creating what has been described as “a wildly dynamic mix of thunderous beats and razor sharp hooks” (Independent Music Awards). The band euphorically pays homage to the rich and riotous tradition of American rock with songs like "Better Than Before" and "Come In From The Outside" (you can hear echoes of their forefathers, like Bruce Springsteen, and their contemporaries, like Bon Iver, if you're into that whole comparison thing). But the real standout in the bands' potent arsenal is how remarkably they handle a ballad, as evidenced by heart-wrenchers like "Albuquerque" and "Gold"; the latter of the two won the 2014 Independent Music Award for Best Love Song. In addition, their debut Self-Titled EP, released in November 2013, garnered rave reviews from the likes of USA Today, NYLON Guys, The Deli Magazine, and TimeOut NY.
